With online study abroad courses 

Enhance your in-country spring study abroad experience or take online study abroad courses from home. Courses are offered in a variety of disciplines, plus, you can further enhance your semester with a remote or in person Global Internship.

Courses are offered simultaneously in online and in-person formats. Each course will be comprised of a blend of students participating remotely from home and in person at our CAPA Centers.

Courses & Credit

Earn 3 credits per course, plus earn 3 or 6 credits with an optional Remote Global Internship. Courses will be announce in summer 2021. Credit is issued by the State University of New York (SUNY) Oswego. 

My Global City Events & Activities

Online programming utilizes CAPA’s Globally Networked Learning technology delivered through Canvas, creating a seamless online learning experience. 

In-Country Excursions 

Virtual My Global City events across CAPA’s global cities are available to students taking at least one course. Events vary by week and may include a virtual pub trivia in Sydney, online cooking class in Florence, a virtual city tour of London, and much more! Plus, students will have access to guest lectures, professional networking events, LinkedIn toolbox professional development sessions, and extracurricular activities such as virtual book clubs.

Program eligibility requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Have a minimum GPA of 2.8 (on a 4.0 scale).*
  • Be the equivalent of at least a 2nd semester Sophomore (strongly recommended).
  • Submit your completed application along with supporting documents and your deposit by the program deadline.
  • Be in good academic and disciplinary standing with your home institution.
