Engage

Take advantage of events and activities on campus, and explore central Dublin, located 15 miles west and less than an hour by public transport. Plus, the CAPA Maynooth program includes access to the CAPA Dublin My Global City Calendar.

The CAPA Maynooth University program includes comprehensive pre-departure support, orientation, welcome and farewell events, access to the CAPA Dublin My Global City Calendar, and CAPA Emergency Services, including the CAPA Guardian App. In addition, take advantage of the activities, events, and support services provided by Maynooth. Courses & Credit

Enroll in a maximum of 5 courses or the equivalent of 30 ECTS credits, which translates to approximately 15 US credits (may vary depending on your school's policy). A minimum of a 3.0 GPA is required. Maynooth University Academic Guide

Housing

Live in self-catered, shared student resident housing on campus or choose a homestay, where you'll have your own room and two meals each day, within commuting distance to campus.

Activities

Immerse yourself in campus life by taking part in the more than 100 clubs and societies on campus that offer cultural, social, sports, and other extracurricular activities.

My Global City

A guided visit to Croke Park—a national sports and cultural stadium—takes place the first week. Other activities vary by term and may include a tour of “Googletown” in the Docklands, exploring some of the country’s beautiful medieval castles, or joining in the fun at the many film, food, music, and cultural festivals that take place each year.
