Yes, you will receive credit. Credits range from 3-6 credits depending on your program location, term and length.
Global internships placements are unpaid; however, you do receive course credit towards graduation.
We have a network of over 700 internship sites globally in both the private and non-profit sectors, providing you with opportunities in just about every field. To help you get the most out of your internship experience, we place you in a site that best fits your academic major/field, personal interests, and abilities.

No, interning abroad with CAPA doesn’t cost extra! The cost is built into your study abroad program fee.
Note: In some locations you may be required to obtain a specific visa which does incur a cost not related to our programs.

To participate in an internship in Florence and Buenos Aires you are required to have at least 4 semesters of Italian-language and Spanish-language respectively.
The Global Internship program was designed to prepare you for your future –whether you’re entering the job market or applying to graduate schools. The program is made up of 4 components: internship placements, masterclasses, mentoring, and career preparedness workshops.
During your internship program you’ll be completing reading and writing assignments, building an e-portfolio, developing an “elevator pitch” presentation, completing mock interviews, working on your online professional presence, giving a final presentation, conducting industry field research work, etc.
Applying is easy! Just start your application for your location term/year and add the internship placement option in the application. You will need to send in additional documents such as a resume and cover letter along with the standard application documents.
