Marketing

Shawna has worked in international education and related fields for more than 20 years. As the Vice President of Marketing for CAPA, she oversees all aspects of CAPA’s marketing activities and works closely with global teams on content and communication.

She has previously served as the Director of Marketing for World Learning, an international education and nongovernmental institution that is the umbrella organization for the School for International Training (SIT Study Abroad and SIT Graduate programs), and The Experiment in International Living. She holds a degree in Political Science from Smith College. In addition to her work in international education, Shawna has experience in sales and marketing consulting and as a book editor, designer, and publisher.

Rachel is responsible for CAPA's marketing and advising automation campaigns, strategic web initiatives, and customized marketing support. She has a passion for project management and user interface design.

Since joining CAPA in 2017, she has held a variety of roles including Admissions Advisor, Program Manager, and CAPA Community Administrator. Rachel studied and interned abroad on the CAPA London program, which led her to a career in international education. She also has experience working in higher education admissions from her time at Boston University School of Law. Rachel earned a bachelor's in Public Relations from the State University of New York at Oswego. 

Aaron is the Senior Video Producer for the Marketing team at CAPA. He handles the shooting, editing, photography, and digital asset management for external, internal, and business needs.

Born and raised in Boston, and a graduate of Boston University, Aaron is a huge sports fan, his favorite team being the Red Sox, where he handles the in-game statistics at Fenway Park. His favorite player growing up was Manny Ramirez. In his spare time, Aaron also coaches baseball and writes screenplays.

Maria is the Marketing Coordinator on CAPA’s Marketing Team. She received both a B.A. in English Writing and an MEd in Higher Education Management from the University of Pittsburgh.

As an undergraduate, she studied and interned in London for a semester through CAPA and has felt the desire to help others study abroad ever since! She loves combining her passions for writing, storytelling, and international education in her work.
