The CEA CAPA Queen Mary University program includes comprehensive pre-departure support, orientation, welcome and farewell events, access to the CEA CAPA London active learning events, and CEA CAPA Emergency Services, including the Guardian App. In addition, take advantage of the activities, events, and support services provided by Queen Mary. Courses & Credit

Enroll in a maximum of five courses or the equivalent of 30 ECTS credits, which translates to approximately 15 US credits (may vary depending on your school's policy). A minimum of a 3.0 GPA is required. QMUL Academic Guide

Housing

Live in self-catered, shared student resident housing on campus or choose a homestay, where you'll have your own room and two meals each day, within commuting distance to campus.

Activities

Explore the many neighborhoods of cosmopolitan London, easily accessed by public transportation. Plus, take advantage of the many clubs, societies, and social events offered on campus. 

Active Learning

Events can include a walking tour of the iconic South Bank, a riverboat tour to Greenwich, touring multicultural Brixton, a Jack the Ripper Walking Tour, a curry dinner in Brick Lane, and visiting the Globe Theatre, a Jack the Ripper tour, and a Royal London bike tour. Other events may include a history of tea and tea tasting event and a London canal boat and walking tour.

As a student in our program, you’ll receive our medical, travel, and accident insurance.

Queen Mary offers a range of academic options across subject areas, with 950+ courses, which are referred to as modules at Queen Mary, open to our study abroad students over the academic year. Choose to study across four different disciplines or immerse yourself in one subject area. Students are encouraged to take modules outside of their degree specializations and many joint programs run across the university. To make this possible, the course system used follows a flexible modular model that allows you the freedom to take modules from across the whole range of Queen Mary’s academic departments.
