CAPA is pleased to announce that Australia is now open to all vaccinated international visitors. CAPA will begin programming in Sydney in May.
Jodi is responsible for the strategic oversight and management of the Enrollment and Advising Department. She joined the CAPA team in 2006, as the Manager of US Program Services. Jodi also serves on CAPA's Health & Safety Committee which is responsible for all aspects of CAPA's practices and protocols.
Since joining CAPA, she has held a variety of leadership roles including Director of Pre Departure Services, and Vice President of Global Program Services. Prior to joining CAPA, Jodi worked for STA Travel serving as a manager for The George Washington University and Boston University branch offices. In addition to this, she spent four years leading tours in India, Nepal, and Vietnam for Intrepid Travel, an Australian-based adventure travel company. Through her studies in India as well as her own travel, and experience as an international tour leader, she learned firsthand the importance of thorough advising and pre-departure preparation to set the framework for a culturally rich and safe time abroad.
Andrew completed a Building & Construction Technology degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. After a successful career in construction management, he shifted to the international education field. Completing a Master's degree in International Higher Education & Intercultural Relations from Lesley University, Andrew has led students on education and leadership programs to Fiji, Hawaii, and the Dominican Republic.
He takes pride in knowing that regardless of the length of the program, students traveling with CAPA will have impactful and transformative experiences. Andrew has years of experience both teaching and performing marching percussion, traveling the country, and performing in front of thousands of people—including the Disney World Holiday Parade.
Maggie’s passion for study abroad began when she spent her junior year of college studying in Sevilla, Spain. She since has held a variety of roles within education abroad that span outbound study abroad, international student recruitment, and on-site program management.
She holds a Master's degree in International Education from SIT Graduate Institute and has worked in the US, Spain, Costa Rica, and Armenia.
Tomy is a Global Cities Program Manager at CAPA. He holds a bachelor's degree in Management from Bentley University and is currently pursuing an MS in Higher Education Administration at Southern New Hampshire University.
Prior to CAPA, he spent over a year working as a Haitian Creole medical interpreter and was certified nationally. Tomy’s favorite part of his role as a PM is connecting with the students and helping them accomplishing their dreams of studying abroad through CAPA.
Bonnie is a Program Manager for CAPA Global Cities programs as well as students pursuing Direct Enroll programs. She holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from Richmond The American University in London and a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies from Endicott College where studied abroad in Cape Town, South Africa, and London, United Kingdom.
She has spent her intervening years between school and coming to CAPA traveling and working in the public health sector. Bonnie’s favorite part of being a Program Manager is helping students experience a life-changing semester abroad just like she did.
Hannah graduated with a bachelor’s degree in International Studies from Dickinson College and a master’s degree in International Education from NYU. She spent a semester studying abroad in Bologna, Italy during undergrad and did a J-Term course in India during her graduate program.
She works on CAPA Global Cities programs and enjoys advising students through the pre-departure process and assisting them with feedback on their internship applications. Prior to joining CAPA, Hannah spent time working for different international education organizations and universities based in Washington, DC and New York City.
Jillian is a Program Manager for the Custom Programs department at CAPA. She holds a Master's degree in Teaching Spanish As A Foreign Language from the University of Alcala and a Bachelor's of Science in Nutrition & Dietetics from the University of Maine.
She studied abroad in Seville, Spain, and later moved to Madrid where she worked and traveled for five years. While there, she taught English, earned her M.A., and was also a wine and tapas guide! Jillian's favorite part of being a PM is collaborating with faculty from all across the country.
Lindsay Elisabeth is a Program Manager for the Custom Programs teams at CAPA. She holds a Master of Arts in Publishing & Writing from Emerson College and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
Prior to joining CAPA she worked in higher education at UCLA, Northeastern University and Emerson College. Her passion for storytelling and travel has led to a career in international education where she enjoys empowering students to make the most of their experiences abroad.
Caelin graduated with a B.A. in Anthropology and Spanish from the University of New Hampshire. She studied abroad in Granada, Spain, and participated in an internship at the National Art School in Sydney, Australia through CAPA. She started her career as a Spanish teacher in southern New Hampshire where she enjoyed sharing her knowledge of the Spanish language and culture with her students.
She is now a Program Manager for the CAPA Global Cities program and loves knowing that she is preparing her students to have an enriching experience abroad.
Jeannine graduated from SUNY Oswego with a degree in Public Relations. She spent the Fall of 2018 studying and interning abroad in London with CAPA. During her free time, she traveled to Amsterdam, Cardiff, and Paris.
Her favorite part of advising students is helping them find a program that will advance their academic and professional careers.
Jake holds a Master’s degree in International Relations, a Bachelor’s in Communications, and a Minor in Entrepreneurship, all from Northeastern University.
He has studied abroad in the U.K and South Korea, and has been fortunate to spend time in China and Costa Rica as well. He loves to share his abroad experiences with students and help them discover how they too can go abroad!
Katherine graduated from the University of Kansas with dual degrees in Strategic Communications and Global and International Studies. In 2019, she spent a summer interning in Hong Kong and enjoyed the wide array of food, beaches, and shopping. She also is a CAPA alum and virtually interned in Sydney in 2021.
She enjoys helping students achieve their academic and professional goals as they travel and experience the world.
