While the season is actually colder, because things are opposite on the southern hemisphere, there's plenty to see and do in the city. Warm up with a Tango lesson, go on a walk through the famous Recoleta cemetery, or partake in the culture by attending an exciting fútbol match and cheering for a favorite team!

We have a cultural immersion program called My Global City. This is a calendar full of fun social events and activities that provide you with a variety of opportunities to gain cultural exposure while on your program. Events are either free or low-cost.

Yes! Global internships are available at all of our program locations. We offer mainly part-time internships but full-time internships are available in a few locations.
Note: Some locations do not offer internships during the Summer term. Internships in Barcelona, Buenos Aires and Florence have a language requirement.

You can get involved with your host city's community in different ways, depending on the location.
Volunteer opportunities are available in all of our program locations, however, these are organized differently in each location. Sample volunteering activities include:

Transferring credits can vary at each university depending on their arrangements with CAPA. It’s best to speak with your CAPA Program Manager to find out your specific situation, but here are the general steps:
