The CAPA Florence Program Includes:

  • Tuition costs and transfer credits from the University of Minnesota.
  • Housing – You may choose to live in a shared student apartment or a homestay*. 
  • Meals – If you decide to live in a homestay you will be provided Breakfast and Dinner every day.  Students living in apartments will have cooking facilities and can prepare their on meals.
  • Optional Internship Placement
  • Arrival Orientation
  • Florence Bus Pass for the duration of the program.
  • Arrival Orientation, Welcome Dinner, Mid-term dinner*, departure reception.
  • A pass to the British Institute’s Library and Culture Center and library privileges at their 50,000 English-volume library.
  • Access to the CAPA Florence Center Computer Lab.
  • Comprehensive Insurance – Medical, travel and accident insurance.
  • Advising and Support from the CAPA program staff before, during and after your term abroad.
  • Day Excursion to Siena and San Gimignano.
  • Various course-related events and activities.
  • 24 hour on call emergency services.
